About us

Why we started Fulcrum
Fulcrum was founded because the standard agency model in the transport sector is broken. When a workshop is struggling with a high VOR count, an unexpected breakdown surge, or a complex campaign, the last thing an engineering director needs is a generic CV from an account manager who has never stood in a pit.
The industry has moved on. With Euro 6 aftertreatment systems, complex electrical faults, and strict O-licence requirements, you cannot just throw bodies at a technical problem. You need people who know what they are doing from day one.
That is why we have shifted our focus entirely away from basic labour supply and into managed technical work. We are owned and run by engineers, and we manage our business that way.
How we work
- Proper technical vetting: We do not rely on a keyword search on a CV. Every technician or engineer we deploy is vetted by our own technical management team to ensure they have the diagnostic or mechanical capability required for your specific fleet.
- Understanding the pressure: We know what it means when a vehicle is off the road or when a compliance audit is looming. We speak your language, we understand the technical data, and we do not need our hands holding when we walk onto your site.
- Focus on the root cause: Whether we are handling a short-term workshop cover requirement, a major Euro 6 retrofit project, or a fleet fault-finding exercise, our goal is always the same: get the vehicle back in service safely and efficiently, without repeat failures. We can follow up with tailor made training material and fault specific training sessions to avoid reoccurrence.
We are here to act as a reliable, technical extension of your own workshop team. No fluff, no recruitment jargon – just straightforward engineering support when and where you need it.
